This origami exhibit, curated by origami devotee Uyen Nguyen, will hopefully be on display at Cooper Union in New York (the place where the first origami exhibition was on display back in the 1950s.)
Nguyen is seeking funding on Indiegogo, and as of this week she is about a third of the way to her goal. The following artists were invited to participate in this show.
Tran Trung Hieu
Paper artist Adam Tran "Tran Trung Hieu" folds most of these incredible figures from a single sheet of paper.
Evan Zodi
Origami master Evan Zodi creates these intricate paper foldings and offers diagrams so people can replicate his designs.
Bernie Peyton
A wildlife biologist-turned-origami artist, Peyton creates wildlife origami.
