Photographer Jeff Reidel Visits Discovery

This week, photographer Jeff Reidel visited Discovery Communications and I got to meet him! He's shot actors, musicians, athletes and other famous personalities for dozens of tv shows, magazines, and commerical spots. He aso does some documentary photography and has traveled all over the world. His work is incredible; I have such respect for him. He's shot portraits of the actors from some of my favorite shows and movies: Being Human, True Blood, The Big Bang Theory, and SNL.

Water is so interesting. The two little hydrogen and one little oxygen molecules flow together in solid (ice), liquid (water), or gas (vapor), and can also pick up traces of sediment or leftovers, depending on which environment it runs through. Friday Flower Shoot

About a week ago, I ran a 5k race with a bunch of girl friends and at the finish line, volunteers gave out water, fruit, ice cold towels, and a flower to each runner. Getting a flower after a run was a first for me! I kept it in a wine bottle vase for a few days until it started to dry out. Before it withered away completely, I took some photos. As you scroll down, you can see how I picked off a few petals at a time until there were none left on the stem.
