Feel Like a Champion - Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

My trip to the Olympic Park!

Next on the agenda was taking a train out to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. I woke up in the house with 2 dogs and got myself to the tube station. Here's a clip from my ride:

I made it!
This was my breakfast - I had bought it at the dollar store on my way to the tube in the sketchy area where my AirBnb was.
Exiting the station, I discovered an open-air mall!
London's version of TJ Maxx is TK Maxx. Weird.
There were outdoor, free ping-pong tables and other fun games!
I finally made out of the shops and found the Park!
I decided the best way to see the park was to rent a bike - cheaper than a tour and faster than walking. After MULTIPLE tries with my credit card, I finally got it to work!

This is the Velopark, where lots of very skinny bikes with very skinny riders zoomed around in circles.

 Lunch was a little pie and a smoothie.
Then I biked over to the pool!

Friday Flower Shoot

About a week ago, I ran a 5k race with a bunch of girl friends and at the finish line, volunteers gave out water, fruit, ice cold towels, and a flower to each runner. Getting a flower after a run was a first for me! I kept it in a wine bottle vase for a few days until it started to dry out. Before it withered away completely, I took some photos. As you scroll down, you can see how I picked off a few petals at a time until there were none left on the stem. Capturing Natural Spirals

Water is so interesting. The two little hydrogen and one little oxygen molecules flow together in solid (ice), liquid (water), or gas (vapor), and can also pick up traces of sediment or leftovers, depending on which environment it runs through. When water is cast off from something, it can behave in different ways. See my  previous post for some odd water behavior.
