Face and Neck Tattoo Portraits - Carlos Alvarez Montero

Mexico-based photographer Carlos Alvarez Montero took these photos of locals in Mexico City who have tattoos on their faces and necks. In his description of the photos, he says they wanted to stand out from the crowd, and use tattoos to illustrate their life experiences. These photos are part of his collection, "SCARS."
Personally, I would go with more of a clean, white or solid, gradated color background that complements a color within the tattoo, but I do like the poses.

Here we have part two of the day's pre-baby shoot. My friend ("J") and her husband ("A") made a blueberry pancakes when we got back to their home after the walk in the park . "A" works as a professional chef at several locations, as well as a personal chef with Chef Bernard during alternate hours in the week. I watched them make the pancakes with pear sauce, and "A" also cut up some veggie for use later on. They maneuvered around the compact kitchen (and the baby bump...).   All done! They were delicious. Real or Fake?

Can you tell if these images are real? With the advancements in photo editing software and the hope that photographers show single-frame images, it is getting increasingly hard to determine if a shot is one frame or a composite. The first one that really caught my eye was published online in the National Geographic Your Shot Daily Dozen on October 1, 2009, and then again in the June 2010 National Geographic magazine. O riginal submission by William Lascelles . Caption information below: Backyard Airshow #candid #dog #flyby #jets "My parents live very close to the city airport and every other year they host an air show. This year the Blue Angels were the highlight and were flying over the house during performances. I took my father's dog outside and made him pose!" Guess what? This is fake. Capturing Natural Spirals

Water is so interesting. The two little hydrogen and one little oxygen molecules flow together in solid (ice), liquid (water), or gas (vapor), and can also pick up traces of sediment or leftovers, depending on which environment it runs through. When water is cast off from something, it can behave in different ways. See my  previous post for some odd water behavior.
