Tiny Instagram Printer - Projecteo

While browsing KickStarter, I found this little gem: a tiny projector called "Projecteo," reminiscent of the ViewMaster toy (see below) that we played with when we were kids (that we actually still have in the basement...). It's a tiny LED projector into which you insert a wheel of 9 of your own Instagram or iPhone photos. You create the wheel of images through the MintDigital website, and you can create as many reels as you want. This is such a cute idea for a wedding or favor: you create a reel of 9 images from the engagement shoot or the couple's trips and give each person a projector and a reel at the wedding. Then, people can go onto the Projecteo website and make their own reel from Instagram photos they take at the wedding. The same can be said for a prom, Sweet 16 party, or anniversary.

Here we have part two of the day's pre-baby shoot. My friend ("J") and her husband ("A") made a blueberry pancakes when we got back to their home after the walk in the park . "A" works as a professional chef at several locations, as well as a personal chef with Chef Bernard during alternate hours in the week. I watched them make the pancakes with pear sauce, and "A" also cut up some veggie for use later on. They maneuvered around the compact kitchen (and the baby bump...).   All done! They were delicious. Real or Fake?

Can you tell if these images are real? With the advancements in photo editing software and the hope that photographers show single-frame images, it is getting increasingly hard to determine if a shot is one frame or a composite. The first one that really caught my eye was published online in the National Geographic Your Shot Daily Dozen on October 1, 2009, and then again in the June 2010 National Geographic magazine. O riginal submission by William Lascelles . Caption information below: Backyard Airshow #candid #dog #flyby #jets "My parents live very close to the city airport and every other year they host an air show. This year the Blue Angels were the highlight and were flying over the house during performances. I took my father's dog outside and made him pose!" Guess what? This is fake. Capturing Natural Spirals

Water is so interesting. The two little hydrogen and one little oxygen molecules flow together in solid (ice), liquid (water), or gas (vapor), and can also pick up traces of sediment or leftovers, depending on which environment it runs through. When water is cast off from something, it can behave in different ways. See my  previous post for some odd water behavior.
